Competition Cylinder head

Description

We offer a fully prepared 118 head casting prepared to Fia homologated dimensions.

We take an old core cylinder head, strip, aqua blast, clean and then pressure test the casting. We then bore the exhaust and inlet ports, fit new valve seats, Colsibro profiled guides and cut the valve seats to give a three angle finish and set the valves at the correct fitted height. Finally the combustion chamber is machined to suit the piston crown – normally a hemi intruder.

Sold as a fully machined bare casting – including valve guides and cut seats.

Valve sizes are: Inlet 44mm with a 7mm stem

Exhaust 38mm again with a 7mm stem

The head is bored to accept the larger journal race camshafts – 45mm, 44mm and 35mm

An exchange unit is required, but an outright sale may be possible. Part finished heads are in stock, but these are finalised to your requirements at the point of sale. Valves, cams, springs and caps are all in stock.
