Introduced by BMW in 1972 as a homologation special. Alloy, boot, bonnet and doors, with lightweight steel body shell. Limited-slip differential fitted as standard.
Only 500 cars ever produced in RHD form.
Description
This car was purchased a few years ago as an unrestored car and had been in a garage for 25 years unused.
The car came over from Southern Ireland in 1976 with it’s then owner who worked in Liverpool. The car was looked after by a specialist in Southport who purchased the car from the owner and kept it until we purchased it for the current owner.
The car had a mechanical overhaul in 2017 and has been used very occasionally since. For sale due to a lack of use.
A genuine car, that will need minor work in the future, offered at a very realistic price of £120,000
