This LHD car was built in the early 2000’s to compete in the new Under 2 Litre Historic Touring car Championship. The car was not really used and eventually was purchased and raced at Goodwood and the HSCC Historic Touring Car Championship. We looked after the car from 2015 until we purchased it in 2019. We undertook a complete re vamp, bringing the car up to the latest specification and using it as a test vehicle for new products/modifications. The car stood in as a very successful second car for Harry Barton in his Championship winning Year with the HSCC.
Offered for sale having remained unused for a season.
The engine is our latest 1800 Fia engine and is new, the Dog leg 5 speed gearbox has been refreshed, the diff has 2 hours on it.
Overall the car is in very neat, tidy condition and has a current HTP and all date sensative items are in date.
The BMW Nue Klasse, or Tisa as they are often reffered as, are one of the best Historic Touring Cars to drive – safe, reliable and a great confidence builder. These cars are eligeable for: MRL U2TC, Goodwood, CTCRC, HSCC, Peter Auto and Masters. So widely used both in Europe and the UK.
