Description
This car was purchased by ourselves a few years ago as a damaged, part stripped car. Further inspection and investigation found that the car had been in fact damaged in 1979 and been stored in it’s damaged condition for over 35 years. We rescued the car from a workshop in Tyseley (Birmingham) where the then owner was trying to make panels fit a damaged shell!
We stripped the car to a bare shell, found it to be totally rust free and straightened the chassis rail on our body jig. The rest of the car was either cleaned, re built or replaced. The interior being original, reflecting the cars long hibernation and it’s 62,000 miles.
Registered as an historic vehicle therefore it is tax and MOT exempt. Three former owners.
Currently enjoyed by ourselves, the car is now offered for sale. A truly special car, very original and a pleasure to drive.
